To attend a web meeting using MeetingLinc, certain system requirements must be met and a small client program must be installed on your computer. To make sure that everything will work when it's time for you to join the meeting to which you've been invited, it is highly recommended that you take a minute now to run through the system test.
The system test will check your computer to make sure it meets the minimum requirements, then it will install the client program on your computer and launch a test meeting.

The system test will open in a new window or a new tab. If your popup blocker prevents the system test window from opening, right-click the link and select Open in New Window or Open in New Tab. If that doesn't work you can copy the link and paste it into the address bar of a new browser window.
Part 1 of the system test checks your computer to make sure it meets the minimum requirements to run MeetingLinc. If everything shows OK, continue to Part 2 of the test. If not, and you are an ODOT employee, call Computer Support at 503-986-3800. If you are not an ODOT employee, please call iLinc Customer Support at 800-799-4510 for assistance.
To proceed with Part 2 of the system test, click on the Start Part II button.
After clicking on the Start Part II button, the Joining Session page should appear. If ActiveX controls are blocked, you may see a different error than the one shown, depending on your browser. The thing to understand is to tell your browser that it's OK to install the software.

If the software installs correctly, a test MeetingLinc meeting should start. It should look very much like the picture above. To end the meeting, select File then Exit. File is located at the top left corner of the web page as shown in the picture. Or you can click the X icon in the upper right corner of the web page.
If the software doesn't install correctly, or there is a problem with the test meeting, ODOT employees should call Computer Support at 503-986-3800 for help, and non-ODOT employees should call iLinc Customer Support at 800-799-4510 for help.
Your computer is now ready for your meeting. It is highly recommended that you take a few minutes sometime before your meeting and go to the Basic Instructions page to learn the basics of attending a MeetingLinc meeting.
